SplitPay helps you collect payments from customers by splitting a large amount into smaller payment units. Each unit gets its own UPI QR code. The customer scans and pays each QR code one by one. For example, if a customer needs to pay ₹5,000 and your split limit is ₹1,999, SplitPay creates 3 QR codes: ₹1,999 + ₹1,999 + ₹1,002 = ₹5,000. You can also use the quick QR option to generate a single QR code for any amount without splitting.
To create a split payment: 1. Go to "Create Payment" from the home page. 2. Enter Account 1 details — Account Holder Name and UPI ID. 3. Choose a payment split limit (₹1,999 / ₹2,999 / ₹9,999 / ₹19,999) or select "None" to set the number of splits manually. 4. Enter the full amount you want to collect. 5. Optionally add a payment note (like order number or bill number). 6. Click "Generate QR Codes". SplitPay will automatically create the payment units and QR codes.
The quick QR option is for everyday single-account payments — no splitting needed. 1. Go to "Payment to Generate QR Code" from the home page. 2. Enter the Account Holder Name and UPI ID. 3. Enter the amount. 4. Optionally add a payment note. 5. Click "Generate QR Code". The customer scans the QR code with any UPI app (Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm, etc.) and pays.
You can add a second recipient account when creating a split payment. 1. On the Create Payment page, click "Add Account 2". 2. Enter the Account Holder Name and UPI ID for the second account. 3. When you generate QR codes, payment units will be distributed between both accounts. Account 2 is optional. You can collect everything through one account if you prefer.
SplitPay splits the total amount into smaller payment units based on your chosen split limit. Split Limit options: • ₹1,999 — each QR code will be at most ₹1,999 • ₹2,999 — each QR code will be at most ₹2,999 • ₹9,999 — each QR code will be at most ₹9,999 • ₹19,999 — each QR code will be at most ₹19,999 • None — you manually choose the number of equal splits (1 to 20) The total amount is always exact — SplitPay adjusts the last unit so no paise is lost.
When you have two accounts, you can move individual payment units between Account 1 and Account 2. On the payment result page, each payment unit shows a transfer icon (↔). Click it to move that unit to the other account. The full amount of the unit moves — it does not get split further. This is useful when you want to control exactly how much goes to each account.
Each payment unit shows its current status: • Created — QR code generated, waiting for customer to pay • Pending — Payment initiated, processing • Completed — Payment received successfully • Failed — Payment failed or expired • Expired — QR code expired before payment You can track all payment statuses on the result page and in your Dashboard → Payments section.
If you have an account, all your payments are saved automatically. Go to Dashboard → Payments to see your complete payment history. You can see: • Total amount collected • Payment status (completed, pending, failed) • Date and time of each payment • Payment notes You need to be logged in to see payment history.
If a customer requests a refund or there is a payment dispute: 1. Go to Dashboard → Payments 2. Find the payment in question 3. Contact support with the payment ID Refunds are processed through the original payment method. Processing time depends on the customer's bank. For any dispute, please contact our support team with the transaction reference number.
